My letter to Kensleigh

Don't ever forget that you are unique. Be your best self and not your worst imitation of someone else. Find your strengths and use them in a positive way. Don't let people ridicule the choices you make. Travel the road that you have chosen and DO NOT look back with regret. Remember that there is plenty of time to travel another road, and another, and still another in your journey through life. Take the time to find the route that is right for you. You will learn something valuable from every trip you take, so don't be afraid to make mistakes. Tell yourself that you are ok just the way you are and make friends who respect your true self. Always remember to love God, yourself, family and friends, in that exact order! You will never be able to love anybody if you don't love you first. Talk to God everyday and thank him for your presence and each and every blessing you've received, you are currently receiving, and thank Him in advance for the blessings yet to come. Take the time to be alone too, so that you know just how terrific your own company can be. Remember that being alone doesn't always mean being lonely; it can be a beautiful experience of finding your own creativity, your heart felt feelings, and the calm and peace deep inside you. Don't ever forget that you are special and you have within you the ability to do whatever it is you seek out to do. All these things won't be taught to you in public school. You won't read them in a text book. And you will be judged based upon how you look, your gender, or for whatever reason the judger sees fit. BUT, as long as you remember this letter from Mommy, you will be just fine. Never give up on you and ALWAYS believe in you. I did from the moment I heard your heartbeat.
